It is the continuing mission of The Mendelssohn Project to educate the world about Felix Mendelssohn, to supply enough factual data to further the process of correcting the myriad misperceptions surrounding his life and artistic creations, and to end once and for all the racial persecution his reputation suffered after his death, so that our generation and future generations will have enough information to make its first unbiased judgement as to where Mendelssohn ranks among the greatest composers and historical figures of all time.
